Fishing for predators
This study is being completed as part of PhD research by Emma Nolan from Bournemouth University. The purpose of this research study is to understand participation, motivation and behaviour of predator anglers. The survey will take you approximately 5 to 10 minutes to complete. Your participation in this study is entirely voluntary and anonymous and you can withdraw at any time. The data will be used as part of the PhD research and may be used within resulting publications. We believe there are no known risks associated with this research study; however, as with any online related activity the risk of a breach is always possible. In order to proceed, please confirm that you fish for predatory freshwater species (pike (Esox lucius) / perch (Perca fluviatilis) and/or zander (Sander lucioperca) by rod and line (angling) and if you fish for these species mainly in the UK or elsewhere
